We can’t get enough of that adorable little hamster, which is why we’ve teamed up with the Go Weeyums cartoon artist, Stephanie (also known as Foxatcat) from Sweden, to collaborate on an updated 2026 edition.

We caught up with Stephanie to find out how her original creation even came to be.“The biggest inspiration behind Weeyums came from my own pets, my hamster Kimchi and my two Acacia rats, Saffran and Vanilja,” she told us.
“I loved the idea of combining their adorable features and expressions with the emotional highs and lows that us fans experience.
“At first, I thought it would just be a tiny drawing shared online, but it quickly grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined. People began sharing the artwork everywhere, creating hilarious memes, printing their own flags, and sending me messages about how much they connected with the hamster.
“Seeing others relate to something so simple and silly was incredibly special to me, and helped achieve the one thing I’ve always hoped my art could do, which is to make everyone smile.”
