The 2026 Formula 1 season resumes in Miami following an early-season break, as Atlassian Williams F1 Team heads stateside for round 4. With a Sprint weekend ahead and regulation tweaks adding another layer of complexity, the team is focused on making the most of the work completed back at Grove.
Carlos Sainz is eager to get back behind the wheel after a productive break.
"I'm ready to get back in the car after this early break, which has given us the opportunity to review the start of the season and catch up on some of the items we want to bring to the car.“A big thank you to the team back at Grove for the push that has been done over the past few weeks. There will be more work to do throughout the season, but this a key moment in our year to start regaining some ground. “The track here is unique, with a mix of high and low-speed elements and quick direction changes that reward commitment. I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and making the most of the opportunities that come our way. Vamos!”

Alex Albon is also looking forward to seeing how the team’s developments translate on track.
"It's exciting to be back in Miami after the early break. The team have been working exceptionally hard back at the factory, and it will be good to get back on track and test out what we’ve been working on over the past few weeks. “The regulation tweaks the FIA has brought will bring another element of complexity to the Sprint weekend, so I'm glad to see that FP1 has been extended to give us a better chance of understanding the changes. “This weekend is going to be about who is able to get on top of everything the quickest, so it should make for an interesting race ahead."
