PWP: Four fans score a full house in France

Four Pit Wall Predictions players enjoyed a perfect weekend at Circuit Paul Ricard, nailing their strategy calls to score 8/8.

To score a full house this weekend was incredibly impressive work, as the Lap 19 Safety Car worked perfectly for those that had suggested a one-stop strategy was the way to go.

However, Nicky's battle and subsequent puncture forced him to pit again before retiring, taking our Canadian away from the one-stop and securing maximum points for just 0.2% of players!

As a result, we have surpassed the double century mark on our leaderboard, with three players sitting on 200 points and one leading fan on 205.

Both Alex and Nicky boxed during Safety Car conditions, popping in for new tyres on Lap 19 and Lap 20 respectively – 49% and 58% of fans nailed this call for our duo’s first visit to the garage.

It was our No23 who made the first stop for the team, a decision 42% of you made correctly. He was running P12 when he boxed, inside the P11-P15 threshold that 51% of players said we would be stopping from.

Despite being on track to make one stop each, Nicky’s puncture forced him into a second pit stop before he retired, taking our team’s total pit stops for the race to three – 26% scored five points on this question.

As previously mentioned, there was just one full Safety Car Period, a rarity for the French Grand Prix since it returned to the calendar. However, the majority still got this prediction correct, 52% of you to be precise.

Alex crossed the line on the hard compound tyre whilst Nicky’s came to an end with the medium compound fitted, with 49% and 35% earning points on these respective questions.
