Round 18 of the 2025 season takes us back to the birthplace for Formula 1 night racing: Singapore.
The trip to Marina Bay Street Circuit is the closest Alex Albon gets to Thailand during the campaign, and he is looking forward to seeing the trackside support in South East Asia.
"The team had a great result in Baku, so hopefully we can keep building on these results as we head into the back half of the season," he commented.
"I’m looking forward to racing in Singapore as it always feels like a home race for me and will be great to be back in front of the fans and racing under the lights.
"Singapore is a very different track to Baku; it’s a tight track and physically demanding with the heat and humidity, so acclimatising quickly and getting on pace is always a priority.
"Our focus will be on delivering in Qualifying and putting ourselves in the best possible position for the race."
Carlos Sainz arrives in Singapore riding the wave of his P3 finish last time out, but his focus now is solely on the physical weekend ahead.
"Baku was a great weekend for us, it felt great to be back on the podium and we enjoyed it all together," Carlos explained.
"However, Baku is now in the past and we quickly switch our focus to what’s ahead of us. Singapore is always one of the toughest races of the year, both physically and mentally, but it’s also one of the most rewarding when you get it right, and I have great memories being here.
"I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and to keep pushing to try to build some momentum for the remaining races of the season. Let’s go for it!"
