Williams Esports: Academy Update - October 2023

Williams Esports have expanded our driver roster with one eye on the future, adding several new names to the Academy programme.

We now number 17 Pro iRacing drivers and 9 Academy Drivers, and have proven ourselves one of the most active names in Esports, with touchpoints across a large number of professional championships internationally, on one of the world’s leading SimRacing platforms.

The aim is to provide rising talent with the opportunity to fulfil their professional SimRacing aims, as well as to work with us in developing both their on-track and off-track performance.

This means giving drivers as much experience as possible, preparing them for their future careers, and providing them with chances to prove they’ve got what it takes to make it as a Williams Esports Pro Driver.

Our Academy is firmly involved in all races, events and activations at which Williams Esports has a presence, whether that be behind the wheel itself, on the pit wall, testing and preparations, events with partners or exclusive promotions.

They will receive the same time and dedication as our Pro team gets, across a variety of different areas and perspectives, and will have the opportunity to build their profiles.

All of this effort will only further the value they hold within the Williams Esports roster.

Sunday 1st October 2023: iRacing 24H Series Endurance Esports, Round 1 – Spa 6hr

Saturday 7th October 2023: iRacing Petit Le Mans, IMSA Final Round - Road Atlanta 10hr
