Behind the Badge: Singapore
There's plenty to spot in this year's Singapore badge, with each element paying tribute to Singaporean culture and the city's Marina Bay skyline.
The Merlion, the half-lion, half-fish symbol of Singapore, and the orchid, the country's national flower, bring two instantly recognisable symbols to the design.
We've also included three of the city's most famous landmarks: Marina Bay Sands, with its rooftop SkyPark crowning the skyline, the ArtScience Museum, and the towering Supertrees of Gardens by the Bay, completing the badge and giving it a clear connection to the host city.
