Six rounds into the 2026 Tyre or Lower season and Luc from the United Kingdom has raced his way to the very top of the leaderboard.
After four race-week editions and two special trivia rounds during the April break, Luc sits joint-P1 on 188 points – an impressive start in one of the app’s most toughest games.
And while he’s enjoying seeing his name near the summit, he knows how quickly things can change.
“That’s amazing, thanks for getting in touch!” Luc said. “I have been paying close attention to the leaderboard and making the most of it while it lasts!”
Like many Atlassian Williams F1 Team fans, Luc’s connection to the team runs deeper than results alone.
“The family feel of Williams always appealed to me,” he explained. “It’s amazing how long the family-owned model lasted against often much wealthier teams and I think that feeling of a proper old-school racing team still lives on in Sir Frank’s legacy.”

“Although more of an underdog currently, sticking with the team on the road back to the top makes each step forward more rewarding, and every good result is hard-earned and genuinely means something.”
There’s also another reason Williams feels close to home.
“Plus, Grove is less than 20 miles away from me!”
Away from the track, Luc is a regular across the Williams app’s interactive features.
“I like anything interactive on the app, whether that’s the games, polls or opportunities to submit questions,” he said. “It’s great to have that extra layer of connection with the team and other fans, which really adds to the immersion on race weekends.”
His Tyre or Lower story actually began thanks to some family competition.
“I think it was my dad who actually got me into Tyre or Lower,” Luc revealed. “We still try to collect as many points and badges in the app as possible and that was one of the ways — it’s a habit now!”
And what’s the secret to climbing the leaderboard?
“Probably the best strategy is to see what my dad picks, then do the opposite!”
“Really though, I try not to put too much thought into it; in some of my best rounds I’ve gone through the questions in a matter of seconds.”
“I pay attention to the obvious things like grid positions, race strategy options and weather forecasts, but giving myself time to overthink and change answers is rarely a good idea. Trust your gut!”
With plenty of rounds still remaining in 2026, Luc’s message to fellow fans is simple:
“Stick with it and enjoy the journey! It’s a brilliant fan community to be a part of and it feels like there’s a lot for us to look forward to in the years ahead.”
