Behind the Badge: Bahrain in Malaysia
There's plenty to spot in this unique badge, with each element paying tribute to Malaysian culture and the city of Kuala Lumpur.
The hibiscus, Malaysia's national flower, adds another of the country's instantly recognisable symbols to the design.
We've also included two of the region's most iconic landmarks: the KLCC Twin Towers, once the tallest buildings in the world and still the defining feature of the KL skyline, and the towering golden Murugan Statue at Batu Caves.
The geometric border pattern and palm trees are a nod to Bahrain, carried over from our original Bahrain badge design into this updated version for Sepang.
