Alex Albon: Austin is a special place and somewhere that I always enjoy visiting. Not only is the food always good, but the city is great and the fans definitely bring the Texas energy. It’s the return of the sprint race format this weekend, so we’ll need to get up to speed quickly with only one practice session. It is a challenging and fun track, and it looks to be very hot this weekend, but it is a track that offers overtaking opportunities and has a great flow to it so anything can happen.
Carlos Sainz: It’s always great coming back to Austin, and with the Sprint format this year it’s going to be a really exciting and action-packed weekend on track. We’ve had a strong few weeks as a team and are building some nice momentum, so I’m looking forward to getting back out there and hopefully scoring more points to keep hold of P5 in the Championship. As an American owned team, going back to home soil always brings a lot of energy to the weekend, so it will be a busy one but one of the best weekends of the season.
