After a summer spent behind the wheel of a wide range of machinery, including a Goodwood run in the legendary FW14B and victory at the Boone Forest Rally – Lia returns to F1 Academy action this weekend for Round 5 of 7 at Zandvoort.
It’s been a stop-start sophomore year for our American, but there have been clear flashes of speed along the way. From charging through the field to score double P9 finishes in Shanghai, to a season-best P4 in Canada, Lia has shown her raw speed even when misfortune or penalties have come her way.
Currently P10 in the standings on 15 points, she arrives in the Netherlands with momentum after two of her best results of the year last time out. Zandvoort is a familiar venue thanks to both test outings and last season’s F1 Academy action, and with more than two months since the last round, Lia will be eager to put that knowledge to good use as the series enters its decisive final phase.
