Several members of the Atlassian Williams F1 Team Driver Academy were in action across Europe over the weekend.
A pair of points finishes in Monaco for Alessandro Giusti provided the headline result, while our karting trio continued their Champions of the Future campaigns in Germany as the 2026 season gathered momentum.
Alessandro Giusti
Formula 3
Alessandro Giusti enjoyed a productive weekend on the streets of Monaco, securing points in both Formula 3 races and climbing the championship standings.
The Frenchman started strongly by qualifying P6 overall after finishing P3 in his split qualifying group, putting himself firmly in contention for points across the weekend.
In Saturday's Sprint Race, Alessandro kept his nose clean in a red flag-interrupted contest to finish P5 on the road. Post-race penalties for a driver ahead elevated him to P4, securing his best result of the season so far.
He backed that up with another solid drive in Sunday's Feature Race. Avoiding the drama that often unfolds around the tight confines of Monaco, Alessandro brought the car home in P7 to collect more valuable points.
The double points finish delivers a haul of 13 points from the weekend and lifts Alessandro to P8 in the F3 standings ahead of Round 3 in Barcelona.
Dean Hoogendoorn continued his Champions of the Future campaign with another points haul, this time in Mülsen.
After showing strong pace early on by finishing P2 after free practice, Dean remained consistently towards the front throughout the qualifying heats, ending the phase P4 overall.
A P6 finish in his Super Heat left him starting the final from P13 on the grid, but the Dutch racer quickly began working his way forward during the 23-lap race.
Crossing the line in P7 after another strong recovery drive, Dean looked set for a solid points haul before two post-race time penalties dropped him back to P13 in the final classification.
Following three rounds, Dean sits P5 in the championship standings with 157 points. He remains at Mülsen this week as the FIA Karting European Championship resumes.
Champions of the Future Euro Series – Junior Class
Will Green came agonisingly close to another podium finish as the Champions of the Future Junior field battled in Germany.
The Brit built speed throughout the weekend, ending the qualifying heats P3 before securing P2 in his super heat to earn a place on the second row of the grid for the Final.
The race itself looked set to deliver another standout result. Running inside the top two throughout, Will seized the lead just before the start of the final lap and appeared poised to challenge for victory.
However, a wide moment at one of the opening corners of the last lap forced him onto the grass and dropped him down the order in dramatic fashion.
Despite the setback, Will fought back immediately and crossed the line P7, later being promoted to P4 following post-race penalties for rivals.
The result leaves him P2 in the championship standings on 186 points, just 13 points shy of the championship lead.
Champions of the Future Euro Series – Junior Class
Lucas Palacio showed impressive pace throughout the weekend but was left without the result his performance deserved.
After finishing P38 in free practice, Lucas made significant progress through the qualifying heats to end the phase P9 overall.
A strong drive to P3 in his super heat secured P7 on the grid for the final, and he immediately put himself in contention by avoiding the opening-lap incidents that caught out several competitors.
Running as high as P2, Lucas was firmly in the fight at the front before slipping back into a tightly packed lead group.
Unfortunately, his race ended on lap 8 when he was involved in a three-kart collision, bringing a promising weekend to a premature conclusion.
Despite the disappointment, Lucas remains P13 in the championship standings with 69 points heading into the next round.
