UNDONE, Atlassian Williams F1 Team and Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) today announce an all-new creative collaboration – bringing anime to the world of F1 for the very first time.
The three organisations will create a unique capsule collection, uniting the speed and power of legendary F1 team Williams with the supernatural chaos of DAN DA DAN, one of the world’s most-watched anime series.
The collaboration is part of Williams’ commitment to bring F1’s evolving fanbase closer to the sport through pioneering online, offline and retail offerings. With more than 800 million Formula 1 fans worldwide, and a growing younger demographic, this new generation of supporters embraces wide-ranging cross-cultural interests beyond racing and continue to look for new ways to bring these interests together – whether that’s through fashion, technology, music, or art.
The capsule collection will add to the growing store of Williams x UNDONE products, since the collaboration first launched in July 2025. The organisations have already launched two timepieces – the FW47 and the Carbono – designed with F1 fans in mind: the FW47 drew directly from the car’s engineering, while the Carbono offered fan-driven personalisation, allowing customers to engrave their chosen driver’s number and helmet design on the case back.
The products will be available later this year.
Robert Tran, Founder, UNDONE:
“Bringing a Formula 1 team and a supernatural anime together is a natural evolution of what their fanbases look like today. They care about craft, energy, and things that move at full speed. The overlap between F1 and anime isn’t niche anymore — it’s a culture. UNDONE Lab exists to build for exactly that space: things that shouldn’t work on paper but feel inevitable once you hold them.”
Luke Timmins, Merchandise and Licensing Director, Atlassian Williams F1 Team:
“Here at Atlassian Williams F1 Team, we’re not content to just follow the crowd – we’re always looking to break boundaries, try new things, and find creative ways to bring fans on our journey. This collaboration is the latest demonstration of that ambition. It’s incredible to be able to bring the worlds of anime and Formula 1 together for the very first time – showcasing a new side of Williams and building on the joy and energy of major Japanese brands DAN DA DAN and UNDONE ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.”
Hiroshi Kamei, DAN DA DAN Producer:
“We are truly delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with the historic Atlassian Williams F1 Team. First-time initiatives are always exciting, and we have great expectations for the new possibilities this collaboration will bring. Through this project, we hope to share the unique appeal and world of the TV anime DAN DA DAN with William’s fans, offering a new, and engaging way to experience the series. We sincerely hope you look forward to it.
