As the 2024 Formula 1 season reaches its conclusion, the final round offers one last chance to make your mark on Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf. With just 40 points left on the table, every decision counts in our free-to-play game.
Will you play it safe or push the limits? Either way, the stage is set for an enthralling finale. Our secretive guru, “The Strategist,” has laid down their final picks for the year. Will you follow their lead or chart your own course?
Here Are The Strategist's predictions for the finale:
Q1 & Q2: When will Alex and Franco make their first stops?
Lap 11-20.
This range aligns with trends we've seen throughout the 15 years we’ve been visiting Yas Marina. I expect both Alex and Franco to head into the pits during this window.
Q3: When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?
P11-P15.
The team is hoping to move up through the field, likely setting up the first stop from within this bracket.
Q4: What will be the highest position Williams Racing reaches at any point in the race?
P11-P15.
A steady climb through the midfield is the aim, with a chance to battle on the cusp of the points.
Q5: How many stops will our drivers make between them?

Two stops per driver is the expected strategy for the season finale.
Q6: How many Safety Car periods will there be?
1.
Given the intensity of a season-ending race and the track’s characteristics, a single Safety Car period feels like a safe bet.
Q7 & Q8: How close will Alex and Franco be to the car ahead at the chequered flag?
2.6-5 seconds.
Both drivers are projected to finish tightly packed with their competition, so I’m opting for the third voting bracket.
