Round 20 of the 2025 Formula 1 season brings us to Mexico City, where the altitude and atmosphere create one of the most distinctive events on the calendar.
The team are ready to tackle the unique demands of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, and Carlos Sainz heads into the weekend as the most recent winner at this circuit. Despite a grid penalty, he's heading into the three days full of determination..
"Heading into Mexico week, it’s always a circuit I love to race at, and the energy of the crowds is unmatched.
“It’s disappointing to be heading into the weekend with the five-place grid penalty but on the positive side, we know the car has pace so hopefully we can qualify well and fight our way back on Sunday.
“The team continues to have some good momentum so I’m looking forward to it!"
Alex Albon is also excited to return to Mexico City and finish the double header on a strong note.
"I'm looking forward to heading to Mexico City and finishing the double header strong. The track in Mexico is very different partially because of the altitude, and the stadium section is one of the best to drive through on the F1 calendar.
“The last few races have been messy so our priority will be to keep each session clean, minimise risks and work well as a team."
