The Singapore street lights are upon us as a weekend of racing underneath the night sky awaits to complete our flyaway triple-header in the equatorial city-state.
It's all long-haul trips from here as the season's final act gets into full swing and we look to climb the Constructors' standings.
Get set for Round 17 with these five things to know about Singapore.
Turn on the lights
With the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix cancelled and Bahrain relocated to a daytime slot in Malaysia, Singapore is our first night race of the 2026 season, and the FW48 will dazzle under the lights for the first time this year. It's the first of four night races in 2026, with Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi still to come.
It's a far cry from years gone by, where the concept of a night race seemed impossible. Singapore proved the concept as viable with the first Grand Prix under the stars back in 2008, paving the way for others to follow suit.
Nico Rosberg took his Williams FW30 to the podium in that race, and F1 has returned every year outside of the COVID-affected seasons.
Sprint into daylight
A rare chance to see racing action in daylight around Marina Bay
Marina Bay hosts its first-ever Sprint this weekend, the sixth and final one of the 2026 season. With a single practice session on Friday before Sprint Qualifying at 20:30 local time, there's little time to get up to speed around the walls.
It's also a rare chance to see us racing around Marina Bay in daylight, with sunset not until 18:53 and the Sprint gets underway at 17:00 on Saturday.
Fan Zone
There's plenty to see and do at our base in Marina Square
Our ever-popular Atlassian Williams F1 Team Fan Zone is on the ground in Singapore, and we've already been welcoming fans at Marina Square this week.
Running until 13 October, our Fan Zone allows unrivaled access to the world of F1, even if you don't have a ticket to the Grand Prix itself.
Alex Albon will make an appearance on Wednesday 07 October at 8:30pm. K-pop star TZUYU, the voice of the upcoming Williams x DAN DA DAN theme song, follows on Thursday at 11:30am, with James Vowles at 6:30pm.
There's plenty to see too, including the FW48 livery up close on our full-scale show car, our Initial D and DAN DA DAN anime crossovers, and the Singapore special-edition Williams x Marvel comic. Exclusive Singapore merchandise and the 2026 team kit from New Era are on sale as well.
Head to Central Atrium, L2, Marina Square Mall, 6 Raffles Blvd from 11am until 9pm to find us.
Hot and humid, again
Just a week on from Sepang, our drivers and teams are straight into another physical test. If "tight and twisty" defines Monaco, then "hot and humid" is the Singapore equivalent for each Grand Prix here.
Often billed as the most physically challenging race of the season, it's one where ice baths and cooling vests always feature for the teams' pilots to keep their cool. This year there's a Sprint on top of the longest Grand Prix on the calendar.
With high heat and humidity also comes thunderstorms, and we've had many Singapore GPs with monsoons affecting the track action.

Pattern of Thought
This weekend, our Pattern of Thought 2026 campaign reaches its peak. For Singapore, the entire trackside team, drivers included, will wear a limited-edition team kit designed by our Official Thinking Partner, Claude.
Pattern of Thought is a visualisation of the team's thinking, interpreted by Claude and then designed by our creative team. Singapore is the widest rollout yet, a full kit-wide takeover across the trackside team.
