Round 16 of the 2025 season takes us to Monza, the Temple of Speed, where Formula 1’s fastest track sets the stage for another thrilling weekend. With its long straights, storied history and passionate tifosi, the Italian Grand Prix is always a highlight of the calendar.

Carlos Sainz heads to Monza with extra motivation, returning to a venue where he has twice stood on the F1 podium in previous years.

"Heading to Monza this week, I have a lot of fond memories here from my previous years in F1, so I’m looking forward to making some new ones with Williams and getting behind the FW47 around this incredibly fast track.

“I’m very confident we’ll be bouncing back from last weekend and I’m really looking forward to having a solid week at this amazing venue!"

Alex Albon is also feeling confident after a strong result last time out and is ready to tackle the unique challenges of Monza.

"I’m looking forward to racing in Monza this weekend as part of the next round of the double-header. We’re coming off a strong P5 result and heading to another track that should suit our car, plus it’s always been a fun track to drive.

“There are always tactics and games in Qualifying at this circuit, so we will need to be on our A-game and execute everything cleanly in order to stay ahead of our rivals. We’ll put our full focus into doing that."
