There aren't many better locations for a send off from a championship than Las Vegas, and that's exactly what Lia Block had over the weekend.
F1 Academy came to close for 2025, as did our 19-year-old American’s time in the series, having to depart the championship after completing the maximum two seasons.
How did Lia fare? And where does she finish in the 2025 standings? Read on below to hear how her race-winning season concluded.

Lia Block
Lia entered her last F1 Academy race weekend as a single-seater winner for the first time after her
Singapore success.
A P12 qualification on Thursday meant a fight through the midfield at a track that was new for all 18 drivers, and Lia was up the the challenge.
Race 1 had a stuttering start for all following a formation lap collision that took out two drivers at the front amid a slippery surface after some rain.
Green flag conditions started on Lap 3, and Lia was soon up to P8 after keeping her cool while others did not, including a spin for the leader.
More incidents for drivers just ahead advanced Lia to P6, albeit with a sizeable gap to the top five drivers, but our American set the Fastest Lap to show her intent.
Another position came her way when Ella Lloyd hit the wall to trigger a Safety Car, and it looked as though P4 or better might've been possible after Chloe Chambers and Alisha Palmoski came together just ahead.
Unfortunately for Lia, she had to back out of her attack thanks to the spinning Chambers, dropping down to P7 over the line after her instinctive avoiding action.
That did morph to a P5 classification, however, after penalties hit Palmoski and Joanne Ciconte.
A quieter race in terms of attrition meant less progress in Race 2 on Saturday. Lia did reach the points-scoring positions in the Lap 1 rush before dropping back to P12 for the race's single Safety Car.
She would cross the line in P11 after a relatively processional race, wrapping up her time in F1 Academy with a P9 championship finish with 37 points, and two podium trips, including that memorable Singapore victory to her name.
