Get the low-down on the European leg of our 2025 campaign

As Formula 1 enters the European leg of its 2025 season, we're embarking on a journey through the sport's historic heartland.
This segment of the calendar is not just a series of races; it's a return to the roots of F1, where tradition meets the thrill of modern racing.
Ahead of next weekend’s Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, here’s everything you need to know about our upcoming run of races across Europe.

The European Road Trip: A logistical ballet

Unlike the intercontinental ‘flyaway’ races, where equipment is airlifted across the globe, the European stretch allows teams to transport their gear by road.
This involves a fleet of trucks moving cars, tools and the all-important motorhomes from one iconic circuit to the next.
It's a complex operation that requires meticulous planning and execution, especially during back-to-back race weekends.

Atlassian Williams Racing: Home turf advantage

For Atlassian Williams Racing, the European races are more than just events on the calendar — they're a homecoming.
With our headquarters in Grove, Oxfordshire, the proximity to several European circuits offers logistical benefits and a sense of familiarity.
It's an opportunity to perform in front of our home crowd, too — at the British Grand Prix — drawing energy from the fans who have supported us through the decades.

Races to look out for

A trio of back-to-back European races lie in store for Williams, starting with next weekend’s Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in Imola.
That’s immediately followed by a trip to Monaco at one of F1’s most iconic venues, before the Spanish GP in Barcelona.
The action briefly switches continents in mid-June for the Canadian GP, but not for long — a run of six consecutive European Grands Prix are pencilled in for immediately after that stint at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.
Highlights include our home race at Silverstone and the Belgian GP in July, as well as a visit to Monza in early September.

Why you should tune in

The European leg is a showcase of F1's rich heritage, featuring circuits that have been part of the championship since its inception.
From the tight corners of Monaco to the high-speed straights of Monza, each track presents unique challenges and stories. It's where legends are made and history is written.
As we navigate through these storied venues, the competition intensifies, strategies evolve and every point becomes crucial in the championship battle.
It's a period where the synergy between driver and machine is tested to the limit, offering fans unparalleled excitement.
Join us as we journey through Europe's legendary circuits, embracing the past, present, and future of Formula 1.
