Dave Robson, Alex Albon & Logan Sargeant look ahead to the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

Dave Robson: We had some issues last week in Bahrain, including the PU cooling and steering wheel problems. We have used the few days before the event in Jeddah to resolve these issues and we go into this race more confident with the FW46.
The midfield was incredibly tight in Bahrain, and it will be interesting to see how this evolves as we move to a very different challenge here in Saudi Arabia. The Jeddah Corniche circuit is fast and flowing and poses very different questions of the drivers and cars than the circuit in Sakhir.
Pirelli bring the middle of their compound range to this event, which is another significant change from last week. It is likely that we will see all teams lower their drag level and this may change the order of the midfield come race day.
Alex Albon: After a disappointing first race, it’s nice to get right back into it and put our efforts into this week. Jeddah is a fun track and all about confidence with its fast and flowing nature. It’ll be interesting to go to another circuit and see how the FW46 performs. Hopefully we can take the learnings from Bahrain and put them to use this weekend in the midfield fight.
Logan Sargeant: We’ve used the time between Bahrain and Saudi to understand and address the issues we encountered last weekend. Despite the problems, there are positives from start of the race that we can build on coming into round two. From my experience, Jeddah is one, if not the fastest street circuit on the calendar with multiple quick corners and little room for error. The midfield battle looks tight after the first race with very little separating the teams. We’ve got a great opportunity to bounce back straight away and have a positive result.
