Discover what Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant got up to over the festive break

The festive season allows us all to take a break, spend time with family and relax before the new year.
The same goes for Formula 1 drivers who get a rare chance to break away from their hectic schedule to recharge their batteries prior to ramping up their preparations for the next season.
Here’s what our 2023 duo have been getting up to.

Alex Albon

Albono has been here, there and everywhere over the past couple of weeks. After the dramatic World Cup final, he became the first member of the fabled “Twitch Quartet” to dust off their gaming setups and stream online, teaming up with Jamie Chadwick and American YouTuber, Karl Jacobs.
There was time for a quick dinner date with George Russell and self-proclaimed “third wheel at this point”, Lily He, before they were off on his holidays, swerving Lionel Messi’s invitations.
After having limited access to his country for the past few years, it is hardly surprising that Alex chose to spend the holidays in Thailand with his whole family. Warm weather, beautiful scenery and a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the motorsport world.

Though we’re not sure about the synchronised dancing from F1’s real power couple…

Logan Sargeant

With the eyes of the motorsport world upon him back in Abu Dhabi, the winter break definitely offered Logan the chance to unwind.
Sarge took the chance to head back home, taking in some of the best sporting action Florida has to offer.
First up was the NHL where Logan, alongside IndyCar racer Kyle Kirkwood, was a special guest at Florida Panthers’ match against the New Jersey Devils.

On Christmas Day it was a trip to Hard Rock Stadium where Logan was welcomed by the Miami Dolphins for their match against the Green Bay Packers, even being presented with a special Dolphins F1 helmet.
It’s now just five months until Logan will be getting behind the wheel of his FW45 to race around that very same stadium at the 2023 Miami Grand Prix, a little under 15 miles from where he grew up.
And before the turn of the year, Logan celebrated his 22nd birthday on December 31.
