Breaking down some of the key digits that made our 2025 Formula 1 campaign so memorable

The 2025 season will go down as one of Atlassian Williams Racing’s most memorable in the modern era.
From multiple podiums and top-three starts, to a fastest lap and regular point scores, this year marked a major step forward for the team – and the numbers tell the story better than anything else.

Here’s our 2025 season, in stats.

137 - That’s the total number of points picked up across the 2025 season, our most in a single campaign since 2016, and just one shy of equalling our 2015 tally. 137 points is also more than we’ve scored in the past seven seasons combined (2018 to 2023 = 84 points)
17 - We scored points at 17 of the 24 rounds competed at in 2025. In the three seasons prior to this year's championship, we scored points in 18 of the 68 rounds. That’s a lot of new points badges for the collection.
2 - The first time was so nice, we had to do it twice. This year was the first time since 2015 that we had a driver stand on a Grand Prix podium on multiple occasions. Vamos Carlos!
2.02 - Alex’s first pit stop at the season finale was our fastest of the season, coming in at 2.02 seconds – the 10th fastest stop by any team in 2025.

13 - Prior to 2025, we’d only ever scored points in a Sprint on one occasion, Alex’s P7 in Qatar, 2023. This year we scored 13 points in the format, the highlight being Carlos’ P3 and Alex’s P6 in Austin.
P2 - Carlos’ P2 start in Baku was the first time we’d lined up on the front row for a Grand Prix since the 2021 Belgian Grand Prix.
1 - Just eight drivers led a lap in 2025, and Alex was amongst this small club. His singular lap in P1 at the Chinese GP was the first time we’ve led a complete lap of a race since the 2015 British Grand Prix.
13,001 - Across the 2025 season, we notched up 13,001km raced (8,078 miles). That’s roughly the same distance as going from our Grove headquarters in Oxfordshire to Ushuaia at the tip of South America, as the crow flies. Thanks to the modern day 24 races per year, this is also the most race mileage we’ve ever recorded in a season.

1:12.400 - Alex’s 59th tour at the Sao Paulo GP was the fastest lap of the race, our first time claiming the honour in a decade. It was our first since Valtteri Bottas at the 2014 Russian Grand Prix in Sochi.
19 - Across both drivers, that’s how many times we were in Q3, our most appearances in the top-10 shootout since 2016. Carlos’ P2 in Baku was our best quali result of the year.
8 - Alex’s P8 finish in the drivers standings is the first time we’ve had a driver in the top eight since, you guessed it, 2016.
P5 - Fifth. That kind of says it all really. Now all eyes are on 2026, but there is one last badge left to claim. Get our P5 Championship badge below.
