The Williams Racing Driver became the first female to score a podium in Indy NXT for over a decade

Williams Racing's 2024 American adventures aren't limited to F1's trips to Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas.
Jamie Chadwick, the three-time W Series champion, is racing around the USA all year for her second season of Indy NXT.
The Williams Racing Driver and F1 Academy Adviser rewrote history over the weekend by becoming the first podium-finishing female driver since 2010 with a sublime drive to P3 at the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
"I'm super happy," said Jamie after landing her best-ever finish in the championship.
"We've had good pace all season so far, so to be able to convert it into a podium result is just such a great feeling.
"The No. 28 team and I have been working so hard and after the first two races, it's exciting to finally get this one in the bag."
The result marks a positive step for Jamie, who has adapted well to American racing for her second year competing in Indy NXT.

Celebrations on the Indianapolis podium!
She was running in sixth place at Barber Motorsports Park two weeks ago during the Grand Prix of Alabama before late drama ended her race with a handful of laps remaining.
Jamie shrugged any disappointment off by bouncing back with a P6 qualifying position at Indianapolis to give her a high starting place for the weekend's two races.
That turned into a podium position by just Lap 10 in Race 1, and she used clever car placement to defend her top-three status during two restarts to score some much-deserved silverware.
"It validates the work we've been doing in the off-season and shows where we can go from here," explained Jamie.
"There's still improvement to make but I'm very happy with the progress and the confirmation that it's all starting to pay off."
More time in the upper positions followed in Race 2, where Jamie reached P4 before a mechanical issue hit her car, and she had to drop back.
Jamie will return for more Indy NXT on June 2nd when the championship heads to Detroit for Round 5.
