Our PWP champion is crowned for 2023, but how many points did they score?

Abu Dhabi wasn't just the last race of 2023 for the Constructors' and Drivers' championships — it was the season finale for Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf, too.
After 22 races of posing you strategic head-scratchers, we finally know the top points tally and where our Grove insider, known only as 'The Strategist', finished the season.

Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?

Alex could stick to the two-stopper run plan without any opening lap mayhem and swapped his Pirellis on Lap 16 to comfortably sit in the Lap 11-20 window.
The Strategist got their race off to a point-scoring start here, and an incredible 83% of players followed suit to pick up five points from our first question.

Q2: On which lap will Logan make his first stop?

Logan made it to Lap 15 before getting rid of his medium compound rubber, again slotting within the Lap 11-20 bracket.
Slightly fewer players scored here, but there were still points for most, as 77% scored again, along with The Strategist.

Q3: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?

Curiously, our first stops were identical to our Vegas race, with Logan boxing on Lap 15, one lap earlier than Alex.
Perhaps 53% of players saw some similarity between the two desert locations as they took points here, but The Strategist wasn't one of them.

Q4: When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?

With other cars stopping a little earlier than our duo, both Alex and Logan reached the P11-P15 positions when they pitted for the first time.
A 58% majority correctly went for P11-P15 as their selection here, as did The Strategist, who picks up five more points.

Q5: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?

Another race without any slowdowns meant we could execute our two-stop strategy on both FW45s without issue.
The Strategist predicted a two-stopper and scored more points along with 47% of players.

Q6: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

The well-behaved drivers meant there was no need to bring the Safety Car or even the Virtual Safety Car out at all on Sunday.
Only 24% correctly called this, the lowest scoring question of this week, with 60% wrongly following The Strategist by choosing "one".

Q7: At the end of the race, how close will the gap between Alex and the car ahead be?

Alex's late stop had him chasing down Gasly for P13, and he finished 2.8s adrift of the Alpine by the finish line.
We had 43% choosing 2.6-5s for this answer, but not The Strategist, who misses out by just three-tenths.

Q8: At the end of the race, how close will the gap between Logan and the car ahead be?

Like Alex, Logan was within 5s of his nearest rival, Nico Hulkenberg, as we finished our 2023 season.
The Strategist and 36% of players were right to choose 2.6-5s here to pick up the final PWP points of the year.
With 25 points being the most common total, Abu Dhabi was a high-scoring round to end another year of Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf.
Sunday's race also had 11 players add the rare Pit Wall Perfection badge to their 2023 collection for getting all eight questions correct.
No matter how well most fared, only one player beat the competition in 2023, scoring an impressive 440 points over the season.
Don't worry if you didn't get close to that sky-high score, though — neither did The Strategist, who ends our second year of PWP with 385 points, finishing 33rd in the standings.
Thank you to everyone who played Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf over the season and a huge congratulations to our worthy winner.
