Williams team up with Duracell in long-term partnership

Williams Racing are delighted to welcome Duracell to the team on a multi-year deal ahead of the 2022 season.
From their 1920s roots, Duracell have grown to become a true household name as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-performance alkaline batteries, speciality cells and rechargeables.
The Duracell logo will feature prominently on both cars throughout the season, as well as on our team kit and the race suits of Alex Albon and Nicholas Latifi.
But what does this mean for you, our fans? Well, keep your eyes peeled throughout the season as we collaborate with our newest partner at several Grands Prix with on-the-ground activations, starting at the inaugural Miami Grand Prix in May.
Jost Capito, Team Principal and CEO for Williams Racing spoke of his delight at welcoming Duracell on board, whilst also revealing why this deal has somewhat of a personal connection.
“I am so proud of this partnership between Williams and Duracell, and I am grateful for the trust and confidence they have put in us.
“Having their name on the side of our car is a personal highlight for me, as my nickname for 30 years has been Duracell – because I never run out of energy. I am very much looking forward to our work together.”
Be sure to tune into our 2022 Season Launch, powered by Duracell, tomorrow for a first glimpse of their logo on our all-new livery.
