The 2025 F1 Academy season faces its curtain call in the entertainment capital of the world, and for Lia Block, she’ll be hoping to continue her positive run heading into the last round.
F1 Academy is making its debut in Las Vegas, preparing for a dramatic finale with the battle for title going down to the last race. Whilst Lia isn’t in the title fight, there is a personal milestone up for grabs – she arrives in Vegas just 11 points shy of her 2024 points total, a goal that is well within reach.
After all, Lia has been on a charge of late over the last two rounds. She claimed her first podium in Round 5 at Zandvoort, with some stellar late-race defending to maintain P2 against championship protagonist, Maya Weug.
Last time out in Singapore, she went one better. Lining up on pole for Race 1, she navigated multiple Safety Car restarts and again kept Weug at bay to take an impressive lights-to-flag victory around the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

For our Utah-native, this will be the closest race she’s had to home in her open-wheel career, with plenty of support set to travel across the state line to Nevada for race week.
On track, F1 Academy will immediately follow F1 sessions on every day except Saturday. That Saturday finale will also be run at sunset, a fitting way to end the season.
If you’re in Las Vegas for race week, you can hear from Lia during her live Q&A at the Atlassian Williams Racing Fan Zone, presented by Zoox, on Thursday.
