Q1) On which lap will Alex make his first stop?

Alex’s first stop came on Lap 15 putting him safely within the second option of Lap 11-20. This was good news for a whopping 86% of fans who called this correctly.
The Strategist was also spot on here, giving them a solid start to the round.

Q2) On which lap will Logan make his first stop?

Logan’s pulled in on Lap 10, just sneaking him into the first option of Lap 1-10.
Only 8% of players saw this coming, and this caught out The Strategist too.

Q3) Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?

Sarge made our first stop of the new campaign, something that 40% of PWP players picked. There were more dropped points here for The Strategist, who had suggested Albono would be our first racer to box.

Q4) When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?

Due to his steering wheel issue, sadly Logan found himself in P20 which dropped him into the fourth option bracket of P16-P20.
10% of players thought our first stop would be made from this position, and The Strategist was not one of them.

Q5) How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?

Our humble Grove Guru is looking pretty desperate for points now, and thankfully they came on Q5.
They correctly suggested we’d make 5+ pit stops, and with Alex making two and Logan making three, that’s exactly what we got.
The Strategist was not alone here, 29% of players also scored five points.

Q6) How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

For the second year in succession at this race, there was no Safety Car period in what proved to be a season opener free from attrition.
30% of PWP players called this right, and The Strategist was one of them.

Q7) Which tyre will Alex end his race on?

Alex ended on the hard tyre, with the only other tyre run by Williams Racing being the soft.
17% of you were correct here, as was The Strategist.

Q8) Which tyre will Logan end his race on?

Logan ended the race on the soft tyre which earned 52% of players points, but The Strategist was not one of them.
On a similar note, shoutout to the seven brave souls who rolled the dice and suggested that Alex and Logan would end their race on wet weather tyres… their wait for the first rainy Bahrain GP continues.

The Strategist’s Score:

4/8 – It’s a steady start for our resident guru, who will be looking to kick on when PWP returns for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix next weekend.
One player heads the field at the moment, with a top score of 35/40 in race one – will they keep their lead as Formula 1 heads to Jeddah?
