Check your score after Round 6 of Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf

A second successive rain-affected Monaco Grand Prix led to multiple strategies in Monte Carlo up and down the grid, and four players in Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf, called almost every part of the Williams Racing strategy.
Many forecasts suggested the wet weather would impact the race start. However, it was the closing stages when the drivers faced their toughest test to hamper most players' hunt for points, including our insider, The Strategist.
There was no perfect score this week, but the four of you who scored 35 points from a possible 40 can give yourselves a pat on the back for your Monaco predictions.
15/40 was the most common score, with nearly 29% of players getting three selections correct from the eight questions we asked you, and now one single player sits at the top of the standings with 130 points.
The Strategist did better than most in Monaco, but not by much, and you can read on to see their answers and click the below link to see how your picks fared in the principality.

The prediction window for this Grand Prix has now closed.

Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?

Both Williams Racing drivers had issues with graining on the medium Pirellis they started the race on, leading to early stops from each to get hard tyres, with Alex swapping on Lap 18.
The Strategist got this spot on with their Lap 11-20 choice, as did 66% of players — the highest correct percentage of all this week's answers.

Q2: On which lap will Logan make his first stop?

Sarge lost several places before changing the yellow-walled tyres as the grip levels disappeared in the minutes before his Lap 20 stop.
58% called this correct, along with The Strategist, who suspected Logan and Alex would pit around the same point in the race.

Q3: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

Rain + Monaco = mayhem was the equation that The Strategist thought would make sense. We can see why, but the Safety Car stayed in the pit lane for all 78 laps.
Only 3% of players opted for the correct answer of zero for this one, as the (mostly) well-behaved drivers suffered relatively minor crashes in the rain.

Q4: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?

Alex was the first to bring his FW45 into the pit lane, just two laps ahead of Logan, as the medium tyres' life ran out.
The Strategist said this was a 50/50 question, but 56% got it right, while The Strategist got it wrong after opting for Logan.

Q5: What will Alex's longest stint on the same set of tyres be?

Although the medium tyres didn't last long, Alex took his hard compound tyres around the Monte Carlo streets for 34 laps while he waited for the rain to fall.
Just 16% predicted such a long stint for Albono, including The Strategist, who had no hesitation in suggesting 31+ laps would be the answer.

Q6: What will Logan's longest stint on the same set of tyres be?

Had the rain fallen slightly later or his race-ruining puncture never happened, Logan would have matched his teammate by taking a single set of tyres for 31+ laps of Monaco.
Instead, Sarge's impressive 29-lap stint on the softs wrong-footed The Strategist, who went for 31+ laps, but not the 47% of players who correctly selected 21-30 laps.

Q7: Which tyre will Alex end his race on?

Our final two questions caught out almost as many players as the Safety Car question. The late-race rain meant Albono had Inters when the chequered flag fell.
The Strategist was right in saying that this question "will ultimately come down to the weather," but wrong in their selection of Hard tyres. Nonetheless, 7% of players did opt for Wet or Intermediate rubber.

Q8: Which tyre will Logan end his race on?

Intermediates were the only choice in the closing stages and they allowed Logan some valuable experience in wet-weather driving in race conditions for the first time.
8% went for Wet or Intermediate tyres, including The Strategist, who wisely split the strategy for questions seven and eight to get five final points.

The Strategist's Score: 4/8

It was 20 points for The Strategist in Monaco amid the changeable conditions. They now sit 48th in the leaderboard and are raring to go for Spain this weekend.
