After a positive show of success that they’ll be focused on making into overall victory, including 2 wins from Alessandro, a podium from Moreno and a qualification in the contender stage from young talent Parker in 2023, the trio feel prepped and ready to face the Esports series of the official Porsche Super Cup, a well-established championship for professional sim racers to turn virtual into real life.
Alessandro Bico: “I’m really looking forward to the new season and especially with a new livery as well on the car, I love it and it feels fast!
"The last season was very good from me on my side, and we had some good momentum, so I hope to do even better and enjoy every race as it comes.
"Preparation has been great with the team, we’re good to go now so just excited to get on track and show our pace!”
Moreno Sirica: “Looking at how my prep has been going towards the first round, I’m happy with it.
"I had driving issues last year and it took me a bit of time to fix them, but this shouldn’t be too much of the case this time.
"With a shorter championship adding to the small amount of time you have to fix any issues should you have them; it provides challenges but knowing the team, we’ll make strong improvements and support each other while the season progresses if we come across problems.
"My main target is to improve from last year results. For me, 8th or better in the final driver standings is what I'll be focusing on, but our end ambition is to win.
"The complexity of these short races is a real benefit for us as the car has a really strong draft which makes teamwork really important, and we know what we need to do as one in order to maximise our performance and results.”
Parker White: "This PESC season will be unlike any other competitive iRacing series that I have raced in.
"Throughout the qualifiers last year, we could afford to make a few mistakes but at this level with the best sim racers in the world, there will be no room for mistakes.
"It’s going to be a challenge, and I’m ready for it!"
PESC will begin its 2024 season at Daytona International Speedway from today (3rd February) and continue all the way through to April 6th at the following circuits with both a sprint and a feature race:
R2 – Hockenheim - February 10th
R3 - Circuit des 24h du Mans - February 17th
R4 - Watkins Glen (Mid-Season Tournament) - March 2nd
R5 - Red Bull Ring - March 16th
R6 – Imola - March 30th
R7 - Monza - April 6th
Williams Esports will be broadcasting LIVE coverage onboard with the team from each round in the 2024 iRacing Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Super Cup at 18:30 GMT on twitch.tv/williamsesports starting February 3rd until April 6th.
