RACING PRODIGY

FROM THE SIM TO THE CIRCUIT – THIS IS YOUR SHOT AT BECOMING A PRO RACING DRIVER

You could be drafted by Williams Sim Racing to become a paid professional driver in the Prodigy Racing League, thanks to our partners at Racing Prodigy.
Racing Prodigy is transforming motorsport by turning talented sim racers from around the world into real-world professionals, eliminating the financial barriers that have kept so many from progressing in the sport for far too long.

HOW TO QUALIFY

There are three main paths to pro racing though Williams Sim Racing and Racing Prodigy:

Time Attack
Jump in and set your fastest lap times to see how you rank in the Williams Gaming Club leaderboards! The top 12 drivers over a multi-week period will progress through to the finals, competing against drivers from a range of series to get their hands on one of two Prodigy Passes - and entry to Prodigy Week to try out for a paid pro racing contract! Click here to find out how to get involved.
In-Person Events
Unlike online entries, when you visit an official Atlassian Williams Fan Zone around the world, you can enter and compete for free! Simply visit our sim rigs in the Fan Zone, register for a Williams account, and compete in the time attack format. See all currently available Prodigy Racing League competitions here.
Student Racing League
Want to represent your school, college or university in the National Student Racing League? You’ve got the opportunity to compete against the best student teams and drivers in the UK. Williams Sim Racing and the British Esports Federation provide students with an opportunity to participate in the growing space of virtual competition, while utilising the benefits of crossover with real-world sports.

RACING IN REAL LIFE

Once you've earned a Prodigy Pass, you'll receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Prodigy Week – a comprehensive real-world evaluation. Here, candidates undergo rigorous assessments, including fitness tests, media training, and on-track sessions in real race cars.
Following Prodigy Week, drivers take part in the Prodigy Draft, which we hosted at our London Fan Zone in 2024. These drivers received paid contracts to compete in the P3 Championship, a five-event series across renowned U.S. tracks.
With contracts signed, these prodigies compete wheel-to-wheel in Radical SR1s. With ten rounds across five events, featuring head-to-head matchups between 6 teams, and two thrilling final races.
After Prodigy 3, every team must whittle their rosters down for the upcoming Prodigy Two (P2) Championship, bringing them one step closer to the pinnacle of the Prodigy Racing League.
