Atlassian Williams F1 Team will host an all-new aerodynamics workshop at the Silverstone Museum, in a mark of their ongoing commitment to the next generation of talent.
The workshop is offered through the Williams STEM Experience, a grid-leading educational initiative designed to help 8–16 year olds understand how their science lessons could lead to a career in the world’s most tech-forward sport.
Hosted at the team’s headquarters in Grove, the programme challenges students to build and test a nose cone, take a spin on a simulator, and learn more about the history of innovation through Williams’ iconic collection of F1 cars. In 2025, STEM welcomed more than 13,000 students, with 87% reporting that they were more likely to pursue STEM subjects and careers as a result.
The special edition workshops will take place at Silverstone Museum this April 8th and 9th. Attendees will get the chance to design and refine their own aero solutions, just like real F1 engineers – with a chance to put the final component to the test in Williams’ vertical wind tunnel.
The initiative will be delivered in partnership with #GirlsWill, a Silverstone-led programme dedicated to empowering girls to pursue STEM pathways. While the event is open to all, free tickets will be offered to girls under 16.
Katherine Solomon, Head of Education, Williams STEM Experience:
“Here at Atlassian Williams F1 Team, we’re passionate about finding, supporting, and developing the next generation of talent. This initiative is another step forward - bringing together two leading organisations from across the motorsport ecosystem to highlight another exciting part of the engineering programme. We look forward to meeting the students in April.”
Phil Lawrie, Chief Executive Officer, Silverstone Museum:
“We’re delighted to welcome Atlassian Williams F1 Team to Silverstone Museum this April as part of our month-long #GirlsWill initiative, which offers free museum admission to girls aged 16 and under. Now in its fourth year, the programme continues to champion female participation in motorsport, and we’re excited to have the support of Atlassian Williams F1 Team and their speakers. Their involvement will help showcase the exciting possibilities within STEM and inspire the next generation.”
