Franco has seen off some stiff competition to win the 2024 Overtake of the Year award.

Formula 1 fans have been voting for their favourite manoeuvre from across the season, from a shortlist of monthly winners.

Alex was also in the running, after his double-overtake at the Canadian Grand Prix saw him triumph in June's edition.

But it was our Argentine racer who claimed the overall prize for 2024, thanks to his bold dive past Fernando Alonso during October's United States GP.

He performed a perfectly-timed move to pass the F1 veteran in Austin, displaying an impressive level of confidence en route to a P10 finish.
