The Temple of Speed truly lived up to its name in 2025, with Monza delivering the fastest Formula 1 World Championship race in history, clocking in at just 1:13:24.325.

For Pit Wall Predictions players, presented by Gulf, Monza proved to be another tough round – and for our Grove guru, The Strategist, it wasn’t exactly smooth running either.

Alex stretched his opening stint all the way to Lap 41, putting him in the Lap 31+ bracket. Just 1% of players called it correctly – one of the hardest questions of the round.

Carlos pitted on Lap 30, slotting him into the Lap 21–30 window. That brought points to 32% of the community.

Q3: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

Despite the long straights and close racing, there were no Safety Car deployments at Monza this year. The 29% of players who backed a clean race collected five points here.

Alex Albon was the quicker of the two, putting in our fastest time of the race and rewarding 56% of predictors.

Q5: What will Alex’s longest stint on the same set of tyres be?

Alex completed a mammoth 41-lap stint on the Hard tyre, making 41% of players very happy with their correct call.

Q6: What will Carlos’ longest stint on the same set of tyres be?

Carlos ran for 30 laps on the Medium tyre, placing him in the 21–30 laps bracket. That meant 39% of fans scored five points.

Q7: Which tyre will Alex end his race on?

Alex ended his afternoon on the Mediums, handing points to the 30% of players who predicted it.

Q8: Which tyre will Carlos end his race on?

Carlos crossed the line on the Hard compound – the most popular answer, with 68% calling it correctly.

The Strategist’s Score: 3/8 – 15 Points

It was another tricky weekend for our Grove-based guru, who scored correctly on Q3, Q5 and Q8. Monza’s long stints and split strategies caught plenty of players out, with no one securing a Pit Wall Perfection badge.

Only four fans managed an impressive 7/8 score (35 points), while the most common tally was 3/8 (15 points) – a sign of just how tough the Temple of Speed was to predict.
