Luke Browning will return to the cockpit of the Atlassian Williams F1 Team FW48 this weekend, taking part in FP1 at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.
The session will see Luke get behind the wheel of Alex Albon’s FW48 for his second FP1 outing of the 2026 season and his sixth overall with the team.
Following his first full FP1 session under the new technical regulations in Austria, Luke will have another opportunity to gain valuable experience of the latest generation Formula 1 machinery. The additional running will also provide important data and feedback for the team, supporting its work both trackside and back at Grove.
“I'm thrilled to have another chance to drive an FP1 session with Atlassian Williams F1 Team,” Luke said. “It’s a great opportunity to get invaluable laps in the FW48 while building my understanding of the car and helping to bring useful data and feedback back to Grove.”
The session also fulfils the team's second mandated rookie test session of the season, continuing the commitment to developing young talent.
Alongside his reserve duties, Luke continues to compete in Super Formula with Kondo Racing, making Monza another opportunity to build his experience both on and off the track.
