From the flat-out speed of Monza to the tight, towering walls of Baku – it’s time for Round 17 of Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf.

Qualifying saw strong winds whip through the city, adding chaos to the already demanding street circuit – and those gusts could just as easily shape Sunday’s Grand Prix. With Carlos lining up on the front row in P2 and Alex facing the climb from P19, strategy could prove decisive.

Lap 21–30. Alex stretched deep into the race last year, and The Strategist sees a similar approach unfolding from the back of the grid.

Lap 21–30. Carlos stopped earlier in 2024, but with a strong grid position, The Strategist expects him to push further this time around.

Two. Street races in Baku rarely run clean, and The Strategist is banking on multiple interruptions.

Q5: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?

Four. Doubling the total from last year, The Strategist is preparing for a busier afternoon in the pit lane.

Q6: Which tyre will Alex end his race on?

Hard. A durable choice to close out the Grand Prix.

Q7: Which tyre will Carlos end his race on?

Hard. The same compound as his teammate, to see him through to the chequered flag.

Q8: Where will the leading Williams driver finish the race?

P1–P5. With Carlos starting on the front row, The Strategist is aiming high for a podium-worthy finish.
