Our secretive Grove guru - aka The Strategist - has made their selections to try and solidify their spot at the top of the leaderboard.

Read on for The Strategist’s tips and insights to help you make your picks for the race at Monza

Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?

Lap 11-20. I think we’ll see Alex relatively early on Sunday, with Pirelli bringing the softest tyres in their range.

Q2: On which lap will Franco make his first stop?

Lap 11-20. Like his teammate, I believe Franco will look to capitalise with an earlier stop.

Q3: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

One. Because of the high speeds, I feel that most incidents at this venue will require the intervention of Bernd Mayländer and his Safety Car, so I’m playing it safe with one.

Q4: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?

Franco. Our young Argentine racer has shown good learnings so far and I feel he'll be our first to stop as he looks to make places.

Q5: What will Alex’s longest stint on the same set of tyres be?

31+ laps. The one-stop is historically the quickest way around this circuit, so if we can manage our tyres, don’t be surprised if our longest stint falls into the biggest option.

Q6: What will Franco's longest stint on the same set of tyres be?

31+ laps. Our stints in 2024 have typically been run in tandem, I reckon Franco's longest stint will be similar to Alex’s.

Q7: Which tyre will Alex end his race on?

Hard. I think Alex will be sporting the white-walled Pirelli tyres when his race ends.

Q8: Which tyre will Franco end his race on?

Hard. I believe Franco will have a similar course of action to his teammate ending on the hard compound rubber.
