2025 has already been a memorable year for Luke Browning – two FP1 outings with a third on the way, as well as being firmly in the fight for the Formula 2 drivers’ title in his first full season.
His efforts have been recognised by the prestigious Autosport Awards, where he has been nominated for British Competition Driver of the Year.
It’s a prize that has been won by some notable Williams alumni over the years, including Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill and Jenson Button.
Should he pick up the award in January’s ceremony, he would have beaten some stiff competition to the honour. This year's nominees are:
Luke Browning - Formula 2
James Calado - World Endurance Championship
Oliver Bearman - Formula 1
Tom Ingram - British Touring Cars Championship
Oliver Rowland - Formula E
George Russell - Formula 1
Lando Norris - Formula 1
Luke has enjoyed previous success at these awards before, having won the Autosport BRDC Award in 2022. If you’d like to vote for Luke this year, simply follow the link below to cast your ballot.
