FAST FACTS
The existing rear axle was moved forward, providing the space for two further wheels to increase grip and reduce drag, initial calculations suggested an aerodynamic drag saving of close to 40%.
After final refinements a reduction in lap time of around 1.5 seconds was achieved, unfortunately the FIA announced a formal ban on six wheeled vehicles, bringing the project to a halt.
The vehicle was used a Goodwood Festival of Speed in 1994, setting a course record, demonstrating how powerful the car really was!
