Belgian Grand Prix
Welcome to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, nestled in the Ardennes forest of Belgium, and long-time host to the Belgian Grand Prix.
This iconic circuit is beloved by drivers, featuring high-speed corners, dramatic elevation changes, and some of the most legendary corners on the planet.
The region's unpredictable weather adds an extra layer of complexity to the racing for drivers, and strategy for teams, making it one of the highlights of any Formula 1 calendar.
Circuit Overview:
Spanning 7.004 km (4.352 miles), the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is the longest track in the Formula 1 season, with 20 turns breaking up its many straights.
The La Source hairpin and Eau Rouge-Raidillon complex kicks off a lap in unrivalled fashion with the long Kemmel Straight that follows being the best point to get alongside a competitor.
Sector 2, by comparison, is a downhill run through Les Combes, Bruxelles, Pouhon, and into Stavelot as the corners keep coming before the high-speed Sector 3 has cars full-throttle through Blanchimont, only slowing for the chicane that ends a lap like no other in the sport.
