Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?

Lap 21–30. Alex made an early stop in 2024, but The Strategist is planning for a longer first stint in potentially variable conditions.

Q2: On which lap will Carlos make his first stop?

Lap 11–20. Carlos boxed on Lap 20 last year, and The Strategist anticipates a similar approach from the lower half of the grid.

Q3: When will our fastest lap of the race be recorded?

Lap 35–Finish. Last year, our top time came on Lap 42, and with the track often quickening late on, a final push is expected again.

Q4: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

One. There was no SC last year, but with rain forecast, The Strategist thinks at least one interruption is likely.

Q5: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?

Four. The same total as last year – and a number that allows for flexibility if conditions shift.

Q6: Which tyre will Alex end his race on?

Intermediates. Rain is expected to play a role at some stage, and The Strategist believes Alex will wrap up his race on the green-banded tyre.

Q7: Which tyre will Carlos end his race on?

Intermediates. Carlos, too, is predicted to end his day on Intermediates, with changing weather favouring adaptable strategy.

Q8: Where will the leading Williams driver finish the race?

P6–P10. With one car starting inside the top five, The Strategist is aiming for a solid points finish.
With Spa’s famous unpredictability on the horizon, this weekend is shaping up to be a true test of strategy. Get your picks in and see if you can outscore our Grove-based guru.
