Atlassian Williams Racing have hit a landmark moment in the 2025 season, reaching 101 points after 17 rounds. It’s the first time we’ve broken into triple digits since 2016 – when we finished the campaign with 138 – and it underlines just how far the team has come during this regulation cycle.
Back in 2022, the first year of these technical rules, we finished last in the Constructors’ Championship with just eight points, 27 shy of our nearest challenger. Fast forward to the final season before the next major regulation change, and we’re sitting fifth in the standings, with a 29-point cushion over our nearest rivals.

The turnaround has been remarkable – and in 2025, it’s been powered by big performances from both Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz.
The post-summer break run of races was a showcase of what this team is capable of. In Zandvoort, Alex delivered one of the drives of the year, charging from P15 on the grid to finish P5 – overtaking five cars by the time he reached Turn 3.
A week later in Monza, he was at it again, climbing from P14 to P7 with a perfectly judged strategy that allowed him to overcut several rivals by running long on the hard tyre.
Then came Baku. In a chaotic Qualifying session, Carlos delivered a sensational P2 on the grid, before converting that into a
brilliant P3 finish on race day. At times, he was metronomic, never putting a foot wrong to ensure we got a taste of champagne on Sunday evening.

It was our first podium since 2021, and the first time a Williams driver has stood on a rostrum after a full-length race since 2017. A huge moment, and one that reflected the collective effort of the entire team, be that those who are trackside, back at base in Grove, or in our London and New York offices.
Those highs add to a season already stacked with progress. Earlier in the year, Alex scored top fives in Australia, Miami, and Imola, while Carlos secured valuable points in Saudi Arabia and Canada, as well as our best-ever Sprint result with P6 in Belgium.
Together, those contributions have put Williams firmly back in the fight – and back into triple figures for the first time in almost a decade.
With seven rounds still to go, there’s plenty left to fight for. The midfield battle is closer than we have ever seen before, and as all teams begin to focus on the new regulations for 2026, every point is hard-earned.
But with momentum on our side and 101 points already on the board, we will be giving everything to finish the 2025 season in style.
