Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?

The very first stop of the 2022 Miami GP was made on lap 11, leading me to believe that unless an early Safety Car is brought out, Alex will likely pit in this window. Lap 11-20.

Q2: On which lap will Logan make his first stop?

The majority of the field started the 2022 Miami Grand Prix on the medium compound, utilising a one-stop strategy by switching to the hard tyres. With this in mind, it’s a safe choice to predict Logan will also pit in this window. Lap 11-20.

Q3: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?

Alex has pitted first at three of the four opening races, leading me to believe he will follow the same trend in Miami.

Q4: When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?

I’ll go with P11-15. Given our recent pace, it’s fair to say we will be somewhere around these positions from the start of the race. As others make their stops, our duo may rise a few places as we look to push for those all-important points.

Q5: When Alex makes his first stop, what will the gap between him and the car ahead be?

0.1-2.5 secs. Alex was within 2.5 seconds of Piastri when he pitted in Baku, and I expect him to be pushing hard to be within that gap again.

Q6: When Logan makes his first stop, what will the gap between him and the car ahead be?

The gaps may begin to open for our American if other cars begin to pit before him, subsequently I have predicted the gap will be slightly larger for Logan. 2.6-5.0 secs.

Q7: How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?

Despite there being a VSC in 2022, I think if there will be any contact with other cars or the walls on yet another street circuit, it will more than likely result in the deployment of the full Safety Car. I’ll go for zero.

Q8: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

There was one SC in 2022, and I think this will be similar in 2022. The tight corners and walls in areas of this track may cause mayhem, so I think it’s fair to predict we’ll see at least one deployment. One.
You’ve heard from The Strategist, now it’s time to make your decisions below. You have until the lights go out on Sunday to make any changes, good luck!
