Our F2 and F3 drivers were all in action at Zandvoort

Zak O'Sullivan returned to the Formula 3 podium in an otherwise tricky weekend for the Williams Driver Academy in the Zandvoort sand dunes.
Logan Sargeant and Roy Nissany were also in action over the Dutch Grand Prix weekend; here's how our trio's races unfolded.

Formula 3

Zak O'Sullivan

A P10 qualifying performance from Zak put him in a prime position to excel in Saturday's Formula 3 Sprint Race from the second row.
And excel Zak did, taking the fight to those ahead of him. Our teenager fought for P2 down the inside of Tarzan on Lap 1 before slotting into P3 and a well-earned second trip to the podium in 2022.
A stop-start Feature Race had Zak running in P10 from the start and keeping out of trouble, but aggressive moves by drivers around him meant he crossed the line in P12.

Formula 2

Logan Sargeant

For the second successive weekend, Logan stormed to P3 in Qualifying under Friday's evening sun.
Our American survived a three-wide first-lap run at the steep banking of Hugenholtz to fend off his rivals and keep his reverse-grid P8. He ended up crossing the eighth line to clinch a Sprint Race point.
Unfortunately, Logan's race on Sunday was over before the end of the opening lap. A lock-up into Turn 1 and a trip through the gravel preceded contact with Ralph Boschung, which broke Logan's suspension and ended up with his Carlin in the tyre barriers.
Thankfully, Logan emerged unharmed.
Our American racer will come back fighting in Monza this weekend.

Roy Nissany

Roy took P14 in Friday's Qualifying meaning the DAMS driver would be in the thick of the midfield action in both the Sprint Race and Feature Race.
In the Sprint, a hectic first lap had Roy drop to P17, but he recovered to P15 by the flag as others fell off the road while the Israeli kept his cool.
However, a late Safety Car prevented any chance of a top 10 finish in the Feature Race, and Roy crossed the line in P17.
It's Formula 3's season finale at Monza this weekend, and Zak will look to take as many points as possible to round out his rookie season. Formula 2 will also run to the Temple of Speed in its third act of the triple header, where Logan will attempt to solidify his top-three position in the championship.
