Welcome to the Hungaroring, situated in the rolling hills of Mogyoród, Pest County, just outside Budapest, Hungary, and home of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
This circuit is often likened to a full-sized karting track with a street circuit, which makes it an exhilarating challenge for drivers.
The track's demanding nature, combined with typically hot summer conditions, is a test of endurance and understanding, especially as the infrequently used circuit gets grippier as the weekend goes by.
Circuit Overview:
The Hungaroring stretches over 4.381 km (2.722 miles) with 14 slow to medium-speed corners that offer very few overtaking opportunities, emphasising the importance of Qualifying.
Sector 1 has the best chances to pass, with the braking zone into Turn 1 and the long left-hand Turn 3 the places to try a move.
Single-file turns and a slow-speed chicane occupies Sector 2, with Sector 3's three corners best suiting those with a high-downforce setup before unleashing down the pit straight.
