Kean Nakamura-Berta
Formula Regional European Championship
Kean Nakamura-Berta enjoyed a strong weekend at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, taking his second victory of the season and moving up to P2 in the championship.
Starting from pole in Race 1, the PREMA Racing driver controlled proceedings from lights to flag to secure maximum points in a composed drive around the Temple of Speed.
In the reverse-grid second race, Kean fought forward from P12 to finish P5, adding more valuable points to his tally.
He lined up P2 for Race 3 and was quickly in the fight for victory, running second and pressuring the leader in the early stages. However, contact while battling for the lead forced his retirement, bringing an abrupt end to an otherwise impressive weekend in which he showed both pace and consistency.
Kean leaves Monza sitting P2 in the standings on 114 points, just seven shy of the championship lead. FREC returns on 3–5 July at the Hungaroring.
Oleksandr Bondarev
Italian Formula 4
Oleksandr Bondarev endured a frustrating weekend at Monza, with strong pace not fully reflected in the final results.
Sasha started brightly by finishing P4 in his qualifying group, securing a second-row start for the opening race. He held position inside the leading pack throughout and remained firmly in the fight for the podium.
Following a late Safety Car restart, Sasha was battling for the top three on the final lap when contact with another car sent him down the order, leaving him classified P28 at the chequered flag.
Race 2 followed a similar pattern. Starting P6, he worked his way forward and entered the final lap running in P3 after another late restart. But a wide moment at the first Lesmo dropped him back, and he eventually crossed the line in P15.
The final race of the weekend proved short-lived, with Sasha starting P29 before being forced into retirement after seven laps.
Our Ukrainian racer will return to Italian F4 action on the weekend of 24–26 July at Mugello Circuit.
Jade Jacquet
French Formula 4
Jade Jacquet returned to French F4 action as a guest driver over the weekend, taking on the challenge of Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for another valuable outing in the category.
Lining up P26 for Race 1, Jade produced a composed opening drive to work her way forward and secure P20 at the flag, gaining six positions across the race at one of Europe’s most demanding junior single-seater venues.
Race 2 looked set to offer another opportunity for progress from P26 on the grid, but her race was cut short by an early retirement.
Starting P27 for the final race of the weekend, Jade again showed resilience to bring the car home in P26, rounding out a challenging but productive weekend of track time.
Jade will return to F1 Academy action across the British Grand Prix weekend in early July.
