Every race, we bring you exclusive coverage from inside the Williams Racing camp via our live blog, and when you join us during a Grand Prix weekend, you can also collect an exclusive badge.

Each Grand Prix brings a new design that draws inspiration from the location we are racing, meaning you can grow your collection with a stunning new badge at every round.

But, there’s more! If you unlock all 23 Grand Prix badges throughout the 2023 season, you will be rewarded with an exclusive money-can’t-buy prize!

When designing a Grand Prix badge, conducting thorough research is crucial. This involves considering various factors to ensure that the badge captures the essence of the race and excites Formula 1 fans.

Factors to be considered include the track itself and its history, Williams Racing’s presence at the site, the culture of the country, and any famous landmarks in the area.

For the Bahrain Grand Prix, we focused on the night race aspect and the national flag to guide the colour palette. We also drew inspiration from the BIC Tower, an iconic structure at the track site.

The tower has a dynamic lighting installation that highlights its unique geometry, which we’ve incorporated into our badge design.

Additionally, we featured one of the Bahrain International Circuit’s fast turns to add more racing nuance and intrigue to the composition.
