Our humble and secretive guru, The Strategist, took a bit of a beating last time out in Austria and has fallen down the rankings from P22 to P66.
But, there is no better place to fight back than on home soil and that is exactly what they’re looking to achieve.
Silverstone has thrown up plenty of memorable races throughout its history and we have been involved in a fair few of those.
As we start our 800th Grand Prix celebrations, discover what The Strategist is hoping for and why…

Pit Wall Predictions

Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?

Lap 11-20. The data suggests a two-stop strategy is the quickest way around the Silverstone Circuit. With that in mind, I’m going for an Alex Albon stop in this window.

Q2: On which lap will Logan make his first stop?

Lap 11-20. Similarly with Logan, I expect him to box in the same window. Will you follow my lead, or go your own way?

Q3: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?

I fancy it to be Alex. Logan has only pitted first at two Grands Prix this season. This suggests a trend has formed and Alex will be first to pit.

Q4: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?

We managed four pit stops between our drivers in Austria, which was also a predicted two-stop race. This leads me to believe there will be two stops each between our duo at Silverstone.

Q5: Which tyre will Alex end his race on?

Data historically leans toward a medium-hard-medium strategy being the quickest at the British GP, so it seems a reasonable decision to back this.

Q6: Which tyre will Logan end his race on?

For the same reasoning as above, I think Logan will finish the race on those yellow-walled medium Pirelli tyres too.

Q7: How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?

There hasn’t been a VSC at Silverstone since 2016, so I don’t anticipate there being one this season!

Q8: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

However, I do believe there will be some attrition at the British GP in front of that roaring crowd – I think we could see one Safety Car.
You’ve heard from The Strategist, now it’s time to make your decisions below. You have until the lights go out on Sunday to make any changes, good luck!
