Get up to speed ahead of our return to Silverstone

We're celebrating the shortest commute of our season for the 2023 British Grand Prix with the famous Silverstone circuit just 27 miles from our Grove HQ.
After many layouts over the years, the current 3.661-mile ribbon of tarmac has consistently gifted some of Formula 1's best racing since its 2011 introduction.
Fresh from our Austrian adventures, we're straight to action for a hectic week enjoying our home race – and kicking off our 800th Grand Prix celebrations.

Fans come first

We will be at the heart of the capital, in Piccadilly Circus, for our London Fan Zone, presented by Kraken, and it promises to be one of the best fan zones yet.
The Williams Racing team will be out in force from Monday to Thursday, with Alex Albon, Logan Sargeant, James Vowles, Jenson Button, and our Driver Academy all making appearances.
Get as close to the team as you could ever want by coming over and enjoying exclusive prizes, giveaways, three Williams Racing cars, Esports experiences, and so much more. Find out all the details here.

Three British Q3s?

Alex has made Q3 three times so far in 2023, allowing us to fight in the top-10 shootout and secure a high starting position for the race.
Should Albono or Sarge reach Q3 in Silverstone this weekend, it'll represent the third British Grand Prix running where the home-soil advantage has got us to the final part of Qualifying.
In 2022, Nicholas Latifi held his nerve in wet conditions to reach Q3 for a P10 start, and George Russell's stellar effort in 2021 had a P8 qualification that turned into a P9 start after F1's first-ever Sprint.

Silverstone silverware

The 2022 British Grand Prix weekend was one to remember for the Williams Racing Driver Academy, who took three pole positions and three trophies away last year.
Logan scored his maiden F2 victory in Sunday's Feature Race, Zak O'Sullivan took a season-best P2 in F3, and Jamie Chadwick won her fourth consecutive 2022 W Series victory over the weekend.
With four members of our Academy in action for F3's sixth round this weekend, might we see more silverware from our junior racers in 2023?

A fresh new look

It's all change for the British Grand Prix, with the FW45 donning an exclusive livery for Silverstone and the Hungaroring to commemorate reaching 800 Formula 1 races.
That's not the only new look happening, either, as we'll also have our latest line of merchandise – the Great Britain Collection - available to purchase, too.
To go with our range for the British GP, we also have a retro 1993-inspired cap available that is already in demand online.

Packed to the rafters

F1 is basking in high interest all around the globe, and even though the sport has always been popular in Great Britain, more and more British fans are flocking to Silverstone.
With nearly all tickets sold out for 2023, we expect the numbers passing through the turnstiles over the weekend to continue the upward trend over recent years.
An astonishing 400,000 fans across three days made the atmosphere unforgettable in 2022, surpassing the already-impressive 356,000 number from 2021. We look forward to seeing you if you're attending in 2023!
