Four years ago today, we revealed that Alex Albon would be joining the team

Four years ago today, it was announced that Alex Albon would be joining Atlassian Williams Racing for the 2022 Formula 1 season. Since then, Albono has become a cornerstone of the team – on and off the track.
Since arriving at Grove, Alex has scored points on 26 occasions, amassing 113 in total (so far). With 82 race starts in Williams blue, he now sits third on our all-time list, behind only Nigel Mansell and Ralf Schumacher.

Along the way, we’ve witnessed some memorable moments: tyre whispering his way to P10 in Melbourne 2022, a defensive masterclass in Montreal 2023, that stunning P4 Quali lap at Zandvoort 2023, leading double-points finishes in Austin 2023 and Baku 2024, and four brilliant P5 results already this year.
But now we want to hear from you. What’s been your favourite Albono x Williams moment so far?
Maybe it’s one of those landmark drives, or perhaps it’s something away from the track. Share your highlights and messages with us – we’ll feature some of our favourites later this week.
