Last chance to make your Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf, for Monaco

It’s time for the most iconic race on the calendar: Monaco. Narrow, punishing, and full of potential for chaos, the streets of Monte Carlo offer up one of the toughest tests of the year – not just for drivers, but for Pit Wall Predictors too.
This year adds an extra layer of intrigue, with a mandated two-stop rule introduced for the race – making tyre choices and strategy windows more important than ever.
With overtaking nearly impossible, track position is everything – and that puts pit strategy, tyre choices, and timing in the spotlight. So, how does our ever-secretive Grove guru see it playing out?
Here’s what The Strategist is predicting for Round 8 of Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf.

Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?

Lap 11–20. Alex didn’t stop at all during the race last year, but The Strategist is expecting more conventional strategy in 2025.

Q2: On which lap will Carlos make his first stop?

Lap 11–20. Same story here. Carlos stayed out in 2024, but this time a mid-race stop looks more likely.

Q3: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

1. With a 57% probability and unforgiving walls, The Strategist is expecting at least one interruption.

Q4: How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?

0. Monaco has seen fewer VSCs over the years, and The Strategist is playing the odds here.

Q5: Will there be a Red Flag during the Grand Prix?

No. Eight since 1984 – but none in recent seasons. The Strategist says we’ll stay green.

Q6: When will our fastest lap of the race be recorded?

Lap 61–Finish. Alex set our fastest lap on Lap 62 last year – a late-race flier is on the cards again.

Q7: Which tyre will Alex end his race on?

Hard. He ended on Hards in 2024, and The Strategist is sticking with what’s tried and tested.

Q8: Which tyre will Carlos end his race on?

Hard. Same again for Carlos. Our secretive guru expects both FW47s to finish on the white-walled compound.
Monaco is always a challenge, but with the right calls, it could be your best-scoring round yet. Will you back The Strategist’s vision – or trust your own instinct?
