SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
At Atlassian Williams Racing, we are committed to getting back to the front of the grid.
Our ambition to be World Championship level extends beyond the racetrack to every part of our business, and this report covers our social, economic, environmental and governance activities for 2024/25, and updates our sustainability strategy that was first published in 2021.
At Williams we have a long track record of opening up access to motorsport – whether that is giving the best young driving talent a route to F1 or backing brilliant engineers regardless of background. This is an area we are accelerating in our quest to attract the brightest and best individuals from around the world, with industry-leading programmes to discover and develop the next generation. At the heart of this is the Williams STEM Experience, inspiring tens of thousands of 8-16-year-olds to pursue science, technology, engineering and maths subjects at school through free F1-themed education days at our HQ. We are proud to be based at Grove, Oxfordshire, in the heart of the UK’s ‘Motorsport Valley’, and the STEM Experience is part of the positive role we play in supporting jobs and opportunities in the local area and for the local community.
As a Formula 1 team we race in a truly global championship, with 24 races in 21 countries across five continents. As a sport, we recognise the impact that has on the planet and are working collectively to reduce it, improving and innovating year-on-year. As a team, Williams is taking action in support of that and implementing comprehensive change in the areas we can control.
